OlliPlay is built for the people who make youth sports happen — and for the young athletes whose character is being shaped every season, on every field.
Our values, on a loop
Our story
Thousands of years before cloud technology, before registration portals and payment gateways, teams gathered on stone courts across Mesoamerica to play Ōllamaliztli — the ancient Aztec ball game. They did not play merely to win. They played to honor something greater than themselves: their community, their purpose, and the spirit of the game.
The ball itself — made from Ōlli, the Nahuatl word for rubber, harvested from living trees and shaped by human hands — was more than equipment. It was sacred.
OlliPlay was born from that same conviction, and from that same word. Olli is rubber: the raw, living material at the center of the game. Play is what we do with it. Together they are our reminder that the best platforms, like the best teams, are built around something real.
We built OlliPlay for the coaches who stay late locking up the gym, for the parents juggling three kids across two leagues on a school night, for the referees who show up every Saturday because they love the game, and for the program directors holding it all together on spreadsheets and prayer.
Why it matters
A season lasts a few months. What a child learns during it can last sixty years. That is the real product of youth sports — and it is a purpose worth building for.
Youth sports is not just activity. It is one of the most powerful environments we have for forming character: a place where a ten-year-old learns what it costs to keep a promise to teammates, how to lose without bitterness, and how to win without cruelty. Those lessons outlive every trophy. Every hour a coach or director spends fighting a spreadsheet is an hour not spent with the young person in front of them. That is the problem we exist to remove.
We build software so that the adults in the gym can do the work only they can do — the shaping of character that stays with a young athlete for life.

We believe technology should serve something bigger than efficiency. OlliPlay is built for organizations that play for a reason — faith-based leagues, Christian schools, community clubs, family-centered recreation programs — and we honor that sense of calling in every line of code we write.

Youth sports programs hold a position of deep trust. Families entrust their children’s data, their registration fees, and their schedules to the platforms their organizations choose. We take that seriously: SOC 2 compliant architecture, COPPA controls, SafeSport compliance features, and PCI-DSS secure payments are foundational, not afterthoughts.
